Affiliate Marketing Shopping Development Tools

Many of the large affiliate networks have now developed their own development tools which make it much easier and faster for the webmaster to create their own shopping site. Many of these tools aim to make it easier for affiliates to leverage the csv or xml feeds provided by the affiliate networks to create their own data-driven website.

A number of third parties have also developed shopping software to use the csv and xml feeds from the networks. Affiliate Window now also has a Product Selector Widget for items such as cameras, TVs and satnavs. This tool is powered by PrimaStar and involves a revenue split with them. It's available through the Awin Apps section of the Awin interface.

LinkShare Webservices
The LinkShare network offers a webservice which returns a cacheable XML file, with the options being:
- Query
- Number of Products
- Page Number
- Merchant ID
- Sort by Price (asc or desc)
